AI watched video of Elaine Thomas using gelatin and cling wrap to make fairy wings. How could she vein cling wrap with toothpick and not tear it? Any suggestions GREATLY appreciated!

Thank you CC

I haven't seen the tutorial, but if you placed the cling wrap on a soft surface, like rolled out sugarpaste, and then poured the gelatin on it, I can see it working.

Don't know where you're located, but I use these texture sheets.  Very easy & the shop owner, Diane, is very nice to deal with.

To make the wings for some dragon fliesI used the veiner for lilies and then cut the shape when dry.Turned out pretty good.
