Hello fellow Cakers!  I had been selling cakes from out of my home as a way to earn some extra money while staying home with my baby but it has recently become a major issue for me to do them. I'm expecting my second child in 4 1/2 months and I really just don't have the energy to chase my one year old all day, stay up all night making a cake, and then chase him all day the next day with little to no break.  I have a few loyal clients that are asking me for a referral to someone else for their cake needs and the only girl I know is needing knee surgery soon.  If there is anyone in the Chattanooga, TN area that could help me out please let me know!  I would very much appreciate it!

I'm too far West too, but I think Cupadeecakes covers your area.  Like K8memphis said, I hope the best for you.

Thank you all for thinking of me!  My info is as follows: Cup a Dee Cakes LLC, cupadeecakes.com (706) 673-6706.  I am located in Tunnel Hill GA, apx, 20 minutes from Chattanooga.  I am mainly a wedding cake maker these days and have a $250 minimum.  If they want to spend that on a birthday cake, I will make it, otherwise I will give you more options for you to have. I would consider all these ladies friends and think they will all do a good job for your clients.

Couture Cakes in Hixson makes great cakes that happen to be also gluten free.  She uses a butter icing like me and only does fondant covered cakes.

Yellow Cake Company.  Kenya is a young mom and does very nice work.  Great attitude and is so sweet.

Sweet Angel Cakes on East Brainerd Road.  Toni Repko.  She is super nice and does some smaller cakes.

I'm sure it's a super hard decision that you are making but I'm proud of you for it.  Many people don't stop when they should and either their life or the cakes suffer.  Best of luck to you and congratulations early on the new baby!

Thank you so, so, so much!  I will pass this information along to the ladies looking for cakes.  They're all pretty small and I hate turning them down but even walking around Walmart today with my family was exhausting.  When we got home all I wanted to do was pass out and it's not like I was actually DOING anything today...  Thank you a million-zillion times!!  We found out today that it's a little boy!
