I am looking for a buttercream recipe that hardens when left overnight to use on sugar cookies to decorate for the holidays. I'm not looking for a royal icing recipe, but truly a buttercream recipe. Anyone have one that is tried and true for cookies? My regular buttercream recipe is great for cakes and crusts over wonderfully but it does not harden enough to decorate cookies, then bag and package them. Thank you!
