All I have to say is... Fondant mat!! I went out yesterday and picked up a wilton fondant mat from walmart and it's the BEST purchase I have ever made! No more shortening, corn starch or powdered sugar when working with fondant. No more mess! Why? Because these mats are non-stick! I was one of those people that thought "no, I can save money and just use my countertop"... never going back to that. Also, you can roll your fondant out on the mat and apply it to the cake then peel back the mat so you don't have tearing or stretching. Also, there are measurements on the mats so you can cut perfect strips and squares and measure when your fondant is rolled out far enough to cover your cakes. $13 at Walmart will change your life! haha! Okay, I'm done. :D
