AI bake as a hobby but recently I started watching more videos about cake decoration, buttercream icing, etc. last time I've ended with pain in my wrist using a hand mixer so I started looking into KA stand mixers. Today I got a professional plus mixer for $200 but I was confused about buying this or the artisan- newer model than the one I bought. What make me pick the professional was the power. However, I read a review about the professional plus having to scrape the bowl and no habing the choice to buy attachment with flex material to help on that. I do not know if there is a protector/splash barrier for this model. Any feedback about my choice? Should I change it? Thanks

AI have a flex beater blade for mine. I got it at a kitchen outlet store for $25. Works like a dream and have had it for more than a year. I never wash it in the dishwasher only by hand.
