I used my acrylic cake circles for a ganache cake for the first time and it stuck..... really stuck. Every tutorial I have seen they just pop off but not mine.
I used a white chocolate ganache with a ratio of about 3&1/2 : 1 and left it in the fridge overnight to firm up as I had to do it late at night.
I sprayed the acrylic with water lightly before applying it to the cake as I have seen a few tutorials that say to do this as it will enable the acrylic to just release.
It stuck so badly that it lifted the ganache right off the cake even as I was trying to cut it off with a sharp thin knife. I would love it if someone could give me some ideas/tips to try for next time.
