Hi everyone,

I am making this cake for a client:

The only thing I'm concerned about is making the ruffle. It is fairly large and I'm not sure what technique was used to create that look. Any ideas? (She is only wanting the bottom two layers)

Thanks for the help!

AI would just pleat a wide thin strip of fondant onto the cake. It doesn't look ruffled at the edge to me, or even as though the edge has been thinned at all.

Agreed... it looks pleated rather than ruffled with a baller or tool.  Cute cake!  Love the sprinkles!  Good luck with it, looks like fun! :)
