Hi everyone!!

I'm hoping someone might help me out with some advice!

I have an order for some placecard cookies for a wedding soon, which wouldn't normally freak me out only the last time I did an order of placecard cookies I ended up having to pipe for 9hrs straight before driving the cookies 2 hrs away to the venue so this time I'm hoping to avoid this problem. I have posted here a picture of the last lot so its easier to explain :)

I was wondering if you made your discs and then put them onto warm cookies, if the fondant would melt a bit and conform to the shape of the cookies without wrecking the decorations on top?  Might be worth trying in advance to see if it would work if no-one else has any suggestions.

AI made the fondant accents for these cookies several weeks ahead. I iced the cookies with a simple glaze and placed the hardened fondant on top of the wet glaze.
