AHello again guys! This is my first time making fondant figurines. I love how this person did these and would love some tips. Where do you start? And how do you make them stand up without falling? Toothpicks in the legs and place the upper body on top? Any advice is awesome. I'd never make it through without you![IMG][/IMG]

AI've just done a batman figurine 2 weeks ago. One thing upfront: Use gum paste!! I thought I give it a go and use fondant with CMC since that could be eaten, but it turned out being more of a chunky batman... In general, get a styrofoam block wrapped in cling film, form the legs, insert skewers into the legs and then into your styrofoam block. Insert 2 toothpicks for upper body. Let dry. Meanwhile make the head on a toothpick, let dry as well. Then form the upper body, attach to already inserted toothpicks and make the arms, attach the head by pushing the toothpick attached to it into the upper body. Use edible glue if needed. Done. Hope that makes sense... Btw, be aware of possible copy right issues!

AAm I violating copy right laws by just sharing the picture? Im not claiming that picture is mine in any way, just complimenting it :) i don't know how that stuff works.
