ABack story, My youngest son is in soccer. This year we have treats final game of the season. Plan was soccer ball iced sugar cookies. Found out today one boy is on gluten free and milk/casein free diet. The no milk is more important than perfectly gluten-free according to his mom. So I need to decide on better cookie direction as I rather spend the time decorating than perfecting a recipe. Planned on no milk product in icing anyway. Will run all ingredients by her first in case I missed one he can't have.
Forgot to say my home is not gluten-free.
use a mix then -- buying the different ingredients and wrapping your head around glutenfreeness is a lot to swallow -- and how sweet you are to include this young man's special diet in your repertoire -- hats off to you
I agree, go with a mix. It will cost a fortune to buy every ingredient separately.

Gluten free is tricky, Id definitely go with a mix. Also double check with the parents on your home not being gluten free as sometimes the slightest trace of gluten can affect people.
