I have made a pot out of gumpaste it is now hard and spray coloured using Kroma Kolor. I am trying to overlay the base colour with gumpaste marvelous molds design. i am using a mix of icing sugar and water as the glue. the design is releasing from the mold but wont stick to the pot.

what am i doing wrong. Oh BTW the pot has not been glazed.

AI use a glue made of CMC mixed with water, not icing sugar. I'm not sure about how the spray colour might be interfering with your attempt.

I wondered that too - so i have just taken a glob of paste and stuck it on using the same glue and it was fine. I am wondering if the hard surface is making a difference
