I tried Americolor navy blue but it didn't come out navy blue at all, not even close.  I tried adding black and it was awful

Can you get Sugarflair paste colours (its a UK brand). They do a nice navy blue. If not, maybe try Americolour Royal Blue and add black??

AAmericolor Navy Blue to a strongish dark blue, then a drop or two of super black to get it to an even darker blue. These cookies are made with that color combo. Good luck!

Thanks everyone!

I just ordered sugar flair paste. Found it online yesterday. Can't wait to try it. I'm also going to try royal blue and black.

dirtycakes, those cookies are great. I love the blue. My navy blue and black didn't turn out like that. Maybe I added too much black. Did you freehand the Ford logo, it's spectacular.

AI free handed the Ford, it was a nerve wracking hour of piping. I don't do enough cookies to justify buying a Kopykake projector, so I practiced the logo about 10 times and just went for it. You can tell they are all a little different, but overall it's fine. It's a handmade product :)

Great job! You are much too critical of your work. I thought the cookies were amazing!
