Does anybody have any idea how many cups a single batch of icing will yield? Thanks!

AThat all depends on your recipe. What type of buttercream you are preparig makes a difference as well.

AI use the wilton recipe of one cup shortening of some type( shortening, butter or margarine) and one pound of powdered sugar and it makes about 3 cups.

I think OP is referring to the icing recipe called: Buttercream Dream, am I right?

I can try to measure next time I make it.  It makes enough for a 9x13 cake, frosted, borders, and some decorations.
