AHi everyone hope ur all well. Can you tell me is it possible to get a suede affect on fondant if so how do I go about getting it? Any help would be much appreciated . I want to do my husbands favourite basketball shoe for his birthday but it is mostly suede and leather. I would love to be able to get it identical.

AI haven't done it but I've seen airbrushing with chocolate looks like suede. Post your shoe when you're done!

I think a colored cocoa butter spray might give you that affect.  http://www.auiswisscatalogue.com/586009/1-COLO.html

I've found whilst spraying edible gold spray onto a cake, that if you spray it across the surface (instead of vertically down onto it) that it will build up little layers that make a suede-like effect, so if you can find/make the right colour and put it into a spray can/bottle, give it a try. Good luck with it and let us know how you get on! :)
