Hi. After many years of wanting to start my own tea and baking business, I finally can. Nevada has passed a Cottage Food Law. It is very restricted though. I can't bake anything that needs refrigeration. It also has to be a face to face sale. No internet or store sales. I will only be doing farmers markets and fairs for now. My main item will be my hand blended teas. I will also be selling pound cakes, brownies and cookies. I make tasty cakes, but am terrible at decorating, so I won't be doing any celebration cakes. I'm hoping it will go well enough that it will be worth going into a commercial kitchen at some point. I have been lurking and reading tons of helpful posts here. Excited about getting started.
