I am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone is from NC that knows and understands the laws and requirements for starting a cake business in your home.. Do you have to get your kitchen inspected? (I know some states don't require it unless there is a problem.) Do you have to have a separate kitchen and work space in the home? What are the first steps to take when turning my passion into a successful business?? Any information would be greatly appreciated!! Happy Caking!
