AI've been asked to bake a cake for a graduation course at work. As far as I'm aware they'll have no one to cut the cake and will be cutting and serving it themselves.. Now I know full well how much my cake serves, but I know that when people cut a cake themselves they cut VERY generous portions, and I'm worried they'll end up with not enough cake for how many people there are, and then complain that I've not made a cake big enough to their specifications.

Firstly, are there any cutting guides available? And if so, is it a good idea to include one when I deliver the cake so I can make sure they cut it correctly? I have a 12x12 square cake to serve around 60 people (with a little extra cake for good measure).

Thank you!

Yes you should give them a cutting chart.  I found this one in Google.
