Is This Ganache Good Enough?

I have literally spent hours trying to ganache this cake perfectly, ready for fondant. I have used a spirit level, a set square and finished with a hot spatula. This is what I have...

 

 

My goal is for the fondant to be smooth with nice sharp edges. Any pointers?? :)
