Hello Everyone I'm hoping someone could help me that doesn't mind sharing a recipe from scratch. I'm looking for a yellow cake recipe that's moist, soft and spongy. I've been searching and having found the right one yet. Please help....

AThis is an excellent recipe. It was posted here not so long ago. I made it twice and substituted almond extract for the vanilla or try 1 teaspoon of each-equally delicious. Family devoured it!,

I love the Beyond Buttercream yellow cake. It's available for purchase on Etsy and I think it was worth every penny. You get a lot of variations as well and every one I have made has been delicious.

The link posted below is a great yellow cake recipe. I recently made a wedding cake and used this recipe for the yellow/white cake tier and it turned out great. It had a great taste and texture. The method might seems a little daunting with having to whip the egg whites and then fold them into the batter, but the women on the site does a great job of explaining it and it's really pretty easy!
