im making cinnamon buns but i dont have cream cheese for the glaze for what is another glaze recipe that i could use? please help
You could do a simple powdered sugar glaze. Add a little cream cheese flavoring too if you have it.
We use what you would call a smear where I'm from. There are some pretty good recipes out there. It depends on if you want something light or you really don't care about the extra calories, then Google cinnamon roll "Goo"
I have a few in my arsenal that I could post if you like. hth
i feel that cinnamon buns are already sweet enough and so just a little more sweetness would do fine
Vanilla Cream Glaze
1 heaping cup of powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 1/2 tablespoons milk
Add sugar to bowl and stir in heavy cream and vanilla until mixture resembles a thick batter. Add milk one tablespoon at a time, stirring until smooth – about 3-5 full minutes. Mixture may look lumpy at first but just continue to stir and it will come together.
Recipe by Pioneer Woman but she used milk. The blog I got it from a couple of years ago used heavy cream instead.

I most certainly will, lol. I was looking recipes for salmon roasted on cedar planks (my SIL favorite) and found this amazing recipe for orange rolls. These topped with your amazing glaze would have me dead to the floor!
