AThis is my second creation, really enjoying this but would like to start selling cakes too. Whats the best way to start getting orders and how much would anyone here price a cake like this, it's a 6inch chocolate fudge cake and the details took around 3 hours to do (I am new though so will hopefully get quicker) Thanks

Oh man, you are SO ready to sell cakes.  That can't be your second one!  As you've seen on millions of posts, we can't give you an estimate on how much to charge for a cake because it varies from location to location.  In New Hampshire - the southern part I could charge $50 for your cake but cake club members in the northern part of my state might only get $35.  Which means that if you spent three hours just decorating it - not taking into account going to the store to buy the materials and baking time, you're earning minimum wage.  Best bet is to go to other cake shops in a 30 mile radius and find out how much they charge per serving and what the up charge is for detailed cakes like yours.

The best way to start getting orders is to research and set up a business plan which would include pricing, legalities, taxes, budgets, etc.  Set up a good web page, a facebook page alone won't cut it for most successful bakeries.  Once you have the business side of things taken care of you can contact venues and related businesses and start networking and marketing.   Your cake looks great but there is a lot more to having a successful cake business that just making beautiful and tasty cakes.
