ACan you please help me find out what technique or impression mat is used to achieve the design on the attached cake? I was going to say that pattern looked like a hardware store thing. Lots of those light covers have patterns on them, we used to use those in the olden days before people started selling impression mats.

oh that sparked a thought-- if you can find that 'plastic 'canvas' they use to make tissue box covers & stuff like that--if you can find the right size weave of that--that would work pretty good
