AHi, I'm new to this and am making my first 3 tier cake for my daughter's birthday. I am trying to work out the best size pans and mix for the cake. I was thinking 6", 8",10". Does this sound standard?
I also am struggling working out sizes of mix for the pans. I am uk & use oz so am confused by cups! I bake from scratch.
Would I be best to do two 2" high pans for each tier? So many questions sorry. Have been concentrating on the decoration & just realised I have not figured out the sponge!!
