Hello. Can anyone tell me how i can make my own diy crystal cake stand with a hot glue gun. The internet seems pretty dry on this subject. I want to make my own cake stand  using a vase and a center piece mirror. Is there a way to attach the beads to that in a way that looks seamless? Something like this. I made something similar to this once using the Wilton pedestal plates.  I got my beads online at www.shopwildthings.com and then just cut them the length I needed.  I then glued the first bead to the underside of the plastic plate using hot glue.  The rest of the beads hung straight down in a nice row.

I don't have a picture of it on this site, but you can see it here:

You are a very creative designer.  That is very decorative!

Aww, thank you both!  It's been a while since I made that, and I'm sure I was inspired by something, I just don't remember what it was.  It really wasn't that hard to make, I just turned the plates upside-down and glued on the beads, making sure one butted up against the next

AIf you Google DIY Crystal Cake plate, you will find Martha Stewart's directions for making a crystal cake stand.

You can buy the bead or crystal drops already on a tape/header, so you only have to glue the tape onto the underside of the mirror:

Or if gravity is working against you, you can glue the tape to the edge of the mirror and then glue tape over that.

I meant, then you can glue ribbon over the tape.
