Cupped Flower Tips....mystery Solved

The cupped flower tips finally make sense to me.  Now that I have them all.

I took a photo with a ruler and labeled them.  Huge difference in sizes.

 

 

With the Ateco tips the smallest number is the largest tip.

With the Wilton the smallest number is the smallest tip.

HTH          ( ps Now I have to get baking so I can try them out)

Thank you, I have tip 401 and piped  ruffles and  flowers with it but I didn`t know that they have such a big difference in size, now I will order # 402 & 403

I'm glad that this will help a few people.  I kept reading threads and then looking at different cupped flowers like the mums, and the big cupped flowers and getting confused.   The sizing is not even close between the two brands, and there may be more brands out there.

 

Just thought that I'd share with you all. { I'm laughing at the look of my 45 year old ruler.  I guess it's kind of hard to read, but you get the idea.}
