How Do I Store My Cake Without The Icing Hardening?

AI am going to be making a cake today that is for tomorrow (but will probably be eaten a couple of days after too) and I am using the icing that you roll out to cover it but I don't want it to go hard! I always put my finished cakes in the fridge because I don't have a cake cover/case so what should I do?
