Hi Everyone!  I hope some one can help me.  I'm making a ring of fire for the top of a hot wheels cake. I'm having trouble making the colors blend in a circle from red to orange to yellow, they get muddy looking.  Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!! Thank You

Need to describe what you're doing. Airbrushing? Modeling chocolate? Painting? What?

I'm sorry, I'm making it out of mm fondant.  The middle of the ring will be cut out as I'm putting a hot wheel truck jumping through it with flames all around the ring, i thought about cutting out in white and painting it when dried.

I'd make it in the lightest color possible first, yellow I suppose, and then airbrush the orange and red. That will make for good blending. Or dry dust the colors over yellow.

I don't have an air brush yet. Dry brushing does sound like a good idea. Thank You
