AHi Everyone,

This may be a ridiculous question, but can I save a mud cake batter in the refrigerator until tomorrow morning? I'll save you all the boring details but basically I need 2 10 inch cakes and only have one 10 inch pan. I accidentally made a double batch of Pam's mud cake batter and since the cake needs to sit in my pan overnight to cool, I have nothing to cook the rest of my batter in tonight.. Ugh! Can I save the batter until tomorrow or should I just admit defeat and make some cupcakes or a smaller cake tonight? I don't want to waste the batter because it is way too good!!!

Thanks :)

If you don't want to bake it tomorrow, put it in a ziplock and freeze it until you do need it.

Well that is great news! Thank you! I need to bake tomorrow because my cake is for Saturday and I want them to have time to set up but great to know if I ever need to freeze. Thanks again!
