My 10-hour cake delivery is done! I packed the tiers in individual containers to transport, then stacked with SPS at the hotel. Finished decorating there, then transported another 1/2 hour out to farm.
Thank you, everyone, for your advise and encouragement over the past several months as I pulled this together!

I did nothing to help you , but just wanted to say congratulations and your cherry blossoms are lovely and delicate, well done.
wow--awesome stuff--i love the graduated blossom scallops--and do you mind me asking how did you do that border? did you have a mold for it--i've never seen it before--quite striking
The border is from one of the new Wilton molds. I picked it up the night before the trip! There is also a pearl border on the mold, as well as flourish-y leaves and more.

I spent WAY too much time smoothing the joins- filling in the gaps with a slurry of fondant/gum glue, but I am glad I did in the end!
something good came out of wilton--pretty cool--and the origami cranes, symbol of honor and loyalty--lovely work
Thank you, 810whitechoc and -K8memphis! The groom is Japanese- his parents came over for the wedding. There were the traditional 1000 paper cranes hanging from the rafters of the barn where the reception was held. (The whole wedding event took place on my sister's mountain farm.)
