I buy expensive white chocolate from a nearby chocolate store and it doesn't seem to melt very well. The dark chocolate went fine, but I went to dip an Olaf (from the movie frozen) cake pop into the white chocolate and half the cake pop stayed on the stick while the other half died in the chocolate :/ is there a better brand I should buy or is there an easy way to make it thinner? I tried oil once and my cake pops wouldn't set right.

AOil or shortening? I've used shortening to thin out before and agree, it doesn't set as well and it tends to change the color a little. I use make n mold pure white candy wafers. I get them from hobby lobby for $7.99 for 2 1/2 lbs. I always use my 40% off coupon for them as well. They are the perfect consistency form.
