Hi,

I am relatively new to baking. Mostly I do cheesecakes but I have done excursions into other cakes. My daughters husband is turning 30 and she asked if I would bake the cake. I did 280 cupcakes for her wedding a couple years ago, I guess she trusts me... She wants red, blue and yellow layered cake...Superman colors ;) Anyway I am a bit confused on making a blue colored cake. Can anyone help me with this? I was thinking of using Red Velvet for the red and just a yellow cake for that color but the blue has me stumped. I've got 50 people to serve with this wonderful tasting cake!!! ;)

Thanks for any help,

Paul

Just mix in some blue food colouring to your normal cake batter.  There isn't really anything natural that would give a blue colour.
