I baked this cake yesterday but i really don't know if i undercharged or overcharged! It is a christing cake. I am 15 years old and started baking 1 or 2 years ago. This cake took me a few hours.Everthing is hand made. It is a chocolate fudge 3 layer cake. The outside is covered in ready to roll icing or fondant ( ha im Irish). Everything is edible on the cake except the barbie itself! I also delivered the cake. I charged 50 euro which is 69 dollars! I also want to hear all opinions!

Really cute cake but although the cake is not that big I think 50€ is a little cheap bc you have to pay for the doll (or did you charge her for that) plus delivery, again the pricing question also comes down to many other criteria, where you  live, ingredients, overhead, time etc etc. At the end of the day only you can know how much you made on this cake & whether or not it was financially worth it. Love the bodice btw:-)

AHow big was it - I know you said 3 layers...but was it a full sized Barbie or some kind of smaller doll?

AOops I meant 2 layers! It is half a barbie! The cake is an 8 inch round bowl and a 8 inch cake on top of that again!

That is really beautiful!  And you are only 15?  I think you are going to have a very successful future in cake decorating!  The price sounds about right to me.
