AI made Marshmellow fondant about a month ago. I stored it by putting a thin layer of vegetable shortening, double wrapping it, and tgen putting it in a food container. I went to use it again, nooked it for 10 seconds, kneaded, added some corn syrup, kneaded some more. Regardless of my efforts, my fondant still looked like it was dry. I couldnt make a ribbon because it would crack easily at the edges and was too rigid to make nice folds. What did I do wrong?
