This year I have decided once again to make my daughters birthday cake. Her birthday is in July so I am doing quite a bit of planning ahead. For her cake, I am making a sheet cake and I plan to purchase an edible image to put on top. My question is: What is the best icing to use on a large cake that is suitable for applying an edible image?

Thanks

I have not used edible images on buttercream but I do use them  on fondant and they work wonderfully with that.

Thank you. But I think I have decided against fondant this year. I did it before and my daughter does not seem to fond of it. Is there any other icing that would work as great as fondant?

AIcing images can be applied to buttercream....there's a backing you have to remove, and you just stick it on there. You can google it to learn more

AI have used them on buttercream with no problems. They kind of melt into the buttercream a little but still look good.
