AHi all, I have been asked to do an open book cake and I have a wilton pan. I read it serves about 30 people so I am missing 15 more. I was thinking to bake a sheet cake and put it under the book. Any ideas how to get the 45 servings? Thank you so much for helping!!!

If you're talking about this shape cake

I would just ditch the wilton pan. Bake a couple 1/2 sheet cakes, fill and stack them, then carve a slight V shape in the middle and taper the edges like in the picture before icing it.

No problem! Also, if you haven't carved a cake before make sure the cake is cold. Fewer crumbs and far easier than a room temperature cake. :)
