I am having a problem with each cake I have made with being able to see a bulge where the 2 layers meet. Its like my cake got pressed down and the filling pushed out of the sides. After I do a crumb coat and smooth the top/sides I put it in the fridge for about 15 minutes before putting fondant on. Should I let it set longer? Thanks for any assistance. I am new to decorating and have only made about 5 fondant cakes so far, each time learning something new. For some reason can't figure this one out though! Thanks again!

ADo a search for a thread titled "My newest trick". It talks about letting cakes settle. They don't settle in the fridge and it takes a minimum of 2 hours.
