i'm making a cake that has ice cream as well as pound cake. However, I'm unsure about how I should store the leftover cake. I know before I serve it, it has to defrost for a little while. Any suggestions would be very appericated.
In my house we would avoid storage issues and finish eating the entire cake .
If it's an ice cream layer cake, it must be stored in the freezer. If it has ice cream mixed in as an ingredient and then baked, store as you would any comparable cake.
