ACan someone suggest a webite site where i can purchase a lace mat similiar to the one used with sugarveil to make lace pieces. I know i can purchase one of theirs but the sticker price is just way too much for my pockets.

Etsy sells a lot of them through PAFMOLDS.  I've purchased from them three times now.  The order does through Hong Kong so I wouldn't use your credit card.  Use your PayPal account instead.  Just to be sure.
