My Nephew has asked for a "Beard" Cake. His Beard is trimmed neatly to his face and that's kinda what I would like to achieve.  Any one have any ideas??? I have all the standard pans, plus a couple of specialty pans. Need Help. Cake is due May 2,2014

Can't think of a thing except using a grass tip for the beard itself then maybe putting sunglasses (in fondant or icing) to take care of the eyes - so you won't have to deal with that - fashion a nose and write "Well Groomed Groom" on the cake and call it a day.

Thank You Ladies for the suggestions. But I don't think that is the answer just yet. Please keep brain-storming. I know we will come up with an answer.

AChocolate jimmies! They'd look like close-trimmed beard hair.

You could make one of those toys that has a magnet pen and metal shavings to give the cartoon guy hair! Haha

A wooly willy!

That's a GREAT Idea! Thanks

Now what Pans to use to bake the cake, I'm thinking a half ball with a 12" and of course I would cut the 12 so the half ball sits in.

Whatch'a think??
