These almond-praline mini Cakes looks cute, moist and tastes chocolaty, and also loaded with the crunchy almond (crust). Below is the method for making this delicious cake is given.
• 2 table-spoons - Butter
• 1/3 cup - brown sugar (packed)
• 2 table-spoons – 2 percentage milk
• 1/4 cup – Almonds (Chopped)
• 2 table-spoons – Butter ( softened)
• 1/2 cup - Sugar
• 1 - Egg
• 1/4 tea-spoon - vanilla (extract)
• 1/2 cup - All-purpose (flour)
• 2 table-spoons – cocoa (baking)
• 1/2 tea-spoon powder (baking)
• 1/4 tea-spoon soda (baking)
• 1/3 cup - 2 percentage milk
Approximate Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Approximate Cooking Time: 15 to 20 minutes
Step:1 Take a small size sauce-pan, and melt the butter by heating (medium). Now add brown sugar along with milk and Stir it nicely. Cook and also stir till the sugar gets dissolved, which might take about 1 minute. Pour the mixture into 4 (8-oz.) ramekins, which is cooking spray coated. Sprinkle some almonds; keep it aside.
Step:2 Take a small size bowl, cream in butter along with sugar till it turns light and also fluffy. Now add and beat egg along with vanilla. Combine 4 ingredients 1. Flour, 2. Cocoa, 3. Baking powder, 4. Baking soda; then slowly but surely add to the creamed mixture alternating with the milk. Spoon almonds over it.
Step:3 Bake it at 350° f degrees for about 20 - 25 minutes or till a tooth-pick if inserted should come out clean. Allow it to cool over the wire rack for about 5 minutes. Loosen up carefully by running a knife on the edges of ramekins. Then Invert the cakes over the dessert plates.
The mouth watering cake is ready. Serve it warm.
