AHi all I need some advice, I'm making a wine bottle to lie on top if a cake! I used a bottle I had at home and moulded fondant around to get the shape but I'm wondering will this need a support underneath or should the shape hold if I just place it on top of the cake!! Would I be better using RKT to make the bottle shape any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks

If you add some tylose powder or gumtex to the fondant it will harden and it wont need any other support. Or use gumpaste and let it dry. That is how I made this bottle. It is actually just a shell of the bottle.
