My mother is turning 40 in may, and i was wondering what your guys out look on this idea was. im baking her 30-48 cupcakes, and making gum paste rounds to top the BC. then im printing out pictures of her 40 years onto sugar or rice paper with edible ink and applying them to the gum paste toppers. yay or nay? :)

I personally think that is a fabulous idea! It will be way more memorable than a monogram or flower for instance. Sweet and sentimental...not lame in my opinion :)

What if you had pics of her ages 1 through 40 years old and have each cupcake have a pic of her at a different age…that would be fun.

Great idea!!! What if you put her face on cake? I think you should put fondant circles and stripes around,it makes your cake looking more pretty.
