I know there have been several requests for help on ice castle cakes but I can't seem to find any help with my current problem.  A customer found a cake she "has to have" for her daughter's birthday.  The cake itself looks fairly simple but the topper is an ice castle and I haven't a clue how to achieve that effect.  Here is a pic of the cake in question.

It looks to me like they may have used the Wilton castle set and ... maybe hard candy coating to get this look. Or maybe gelatin coated??  Any ideas?  Thanks all!

Awoos that's cool.. If I had to guess I bet it was airbrushed with blue pearlized americolor. And bits of royal icing
