That looks like a lot of work. You'll need to keep an eye on how long it takes to do something like this and, bearing in mind you will get a little faster, estimate your hours for the next cake.
There's some good guidelines in the online course http://startyourcakebusiness.com
AIf you type pricing in the search bar..you'll find loads of good advice there.. it will really help!
AWow! $45. That's extremely low. For your own sake, I have a suggestion. I would stop taking orders until I get a good solid understanding of how to price out your cakes. Charging that low not only affects you, but it could have an effect on the market in your area.
Seriously no offense intended. I researched and practiced techniques for 2 years before I opened. It takes time to get it right. If you're struggling with pricing you aren't ready just yet.
ADo your own homework and learn your own costing out so you can price your product accordingly.
Do this (and hone your skills!!) before you go into business and start selling product.
AAnd many other variables - ingredients, time, etc.
IMHO I wouldn't necessarily describe this as a professional level, skillfully designed custom cake and wouldn't expect to pay top dollar for it.
