Made a Butter Pecan cake for the first time this week.  My taste testers all liked the flavor but thought the cake was to dense.  Wondering what the texture should be for this cake.  I would describe what I made as not light like a cake but not as dense as a sweet bread.  Any ideas?  Thanks
