I'm sorry if there has already been a post about this, however I have searched using as many combinations of words that I can think of. Does anyone know how you would go about making a cake like this one where there is a cake stand separating the two tiers? Would the tier under the cake stand need to be a dummy tier? TIA for any help!

I did a cake very similar to that, using SPS.

Thank you Leah that post is very helpful! When you did this with a cake stand, did you have one single pillar going through the cake stand?

AMaybe you'd find it helpful to follow the info in my signature line to find out more about SPS.
