AHi fellow cakers! I was sent this picture and was wondering how the tiaras are made. I am still fairly new and still have a lot to learn about techniques. If it were you, what is the easiest/best way to make a tiara like this one?

I am curious too how to make the intricate ones that look like metal or silver ones, like the one below. Is it gum paste maybe?

It's made with gumpaste... you can find templates on cake central. tape the template around a tin can or any rounded thing (depends on the size you're after) and then make sausages out of gumpaste.

AAwesome! Thank you :) Is the top one made pretty much the same way? Gum paste formed around something? And if so, how did they get the balls to stay on top? Looks like it would be too heavy.
