ADo you think it would be ok to use a craft punch on wafer paper to wrap around a cake??? It will be removed before eaten. I have an idea for a cake that I am doing for my sister's birthday tomorrow.

AI've used it on rice paper which I understand is very similar...so as long as it hasn't been used for anything else I'd say it should be fine.

AI personally have no problem with that. I'm sure some will say not to because it's not a food safe tool and will shed metal shavings all over your cake.

AWilton sells a set of punches if you wanted to get technical... like AZ though..I don't have a problem using them. I use the Martha Stewart ones from the craft store
