A:D So... I'm thinking of buying an airbrush machine but not something big. Someone told me about Duff airbrush, read some reviews not so goods. Most of the reviews says that it broken pretty fast. Which one can you recommend that it's not too pricey or big because my space it's not so big, plus it's something that maybe I will not use everyday. Which one should I buy?:(
I have a basic kopykake airbrush that's good for light use. I don't know anything about the Duff one.
AI second what was said above. But I can tell you I have a good friend who bought the Duff and really really hated it.
I bought the Dinkydoodle one at the November show in Birmingham and I am thrilled with it. I've really started to use it for all my cakes, I'm just upset with myself for not buying it earlier. I was initially nervous but decided to go for it for my sons birthday thinking that if it went slightly wrong it colour wise it wouldn't matter (how nice am I!) but it was perfect and since then I haven't coloured fondant at all which takes off such a load esp as I have a weak wrist from all the kneading. Go for it - you will not regret it!
AClaire my OH bought one for me for our anniversary last year - it is brilliant. Managed to get a silver award for my flowers. I used it to colour my roses! Great piece of kit. Do you use americolor or drinkydoo colours?
That's brilliant, can you post a photo of your flowers? I'd love to see them.
I use the Americolor colours as I am Jewish and they are kosher (Dawn from Dinkydoodle advised me to get them). I have a surplus at the moment bc I got carried away when I went to the States last month only to come back and realise that I had been too enthusiastic
