ADo you guys know if it's fine to use chocolate bars to make ganache? . Since my cousin is selling them I was wondering if I could use them. Or would I need chocolate chips?

Not the ones with the stuff in them, almonds, caramel, and cereal. That's a no.

The plain unadorned chocolate would be fine.  I've used chocolate chips for kids cupcakes, to make them like the old Ding Dongs & Hostess cupcakes.  I don't waste expensive chocolate on undiscerning palates.
